To Create a Distribution Item Using a Wizard

  1. Create a new distribution order or open a distribution order that has not been approved.

    The Distribution Order form displays in the Content pane.

  2. Select the Use Lists icon located on the Action Bar.

  3. Select the appropriate distribution reason from the drop-down box and optionally select a Date Required. Click Next.

  4. Select one of the following distribution options:
    1. To all persons on a specified Distribution List that is not specifically associated to any particular document.
    2. To all persons on all distribution lists related to a specified document (defined in the Lists - Distribution topic of the document).
    3. Multiple documents associated with a distribution list to persons on that list.
    4. To all persons on a specified distribution list related to multiple selected documents.
  5. Click Next. (Option 2 from the previous step is used here as an example.)

  6. Depending on the option selected in the previous step (step 2 of 3), select Distribution List and / or Document details, as required and click Finish.

    The newly created distribution line items display in the Distribution Order content pane.
